SVGC is a member of the following government-wide and MOD-specific framework arrangements:

  • Analysis Support Construct (ASC) – a commercial framework set up by Dstl to meet increased government demand for evidence-based decision-making in the defence and security domains.
  • Digital Outcomes and Specialists 2 (DOS2) – The aim of the Digital Marketplace is to make the commissioning process simpler, clearer and faster. Buying and selling through the Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework will:
    • reduce the time and cost traditionally associated with procurement
    • allow buyers and suppliers to talk to each other so they can decide whether there is a good fit
    • give more suppliers the opportunity to support digital transformation across the whole of the public sector
  • Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) – focuses on a new EW&C procurement for defence suppliers, covering four capability areas – cyber, systems, weapons and analysis. The aim of the framework is to facilitate simple, direct access to requirements in the following EW&C capability areas:
    • Engineering design, manufacture and assessment
    • Cyber, software & modelling
    • Sensor, sensor systems and signature measurement
    • Trials and capability operation
  • Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS 5) – a route for central government departments to contract in technical support, including studies, project and engineering support
  • G-Cloud 10 – The G-Cloud framework is an agreement between the government and suppliers who provide cloud-based services. The G-Cloud services are divided into 3 categories, or ‘lots’:
    •  cloud hosting, for example content delivery networks or load balancing services
    •  cloud software, for example accounting tools or customer service management software
    •  cloud support, for example migration services or ongoing support
  • SVGC are members of G-Cloud 10 in:
    • Lot 2 – Cloud software
    • Lot 3 – Cloud support
  • ProgenyProgeny Maritime Research Framework contract was awarded by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) to QinetiQ and they will build and manage a community of innovators, who will contribute ideas to maximise the impact of science and technology for UK maritime defence.
  • R-Cloud – Research Cloud (R-Cloud) is the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’s (Dstl) marketplace for science and technology (S&T) research, providing ready access to the latest research opportunities. R-Cloud offers research contracting opportunities across Dstl’s priority S&T capabilities and welcomes membership from UK and international research suppliers.SVGC are members of R-Cloud in:
